Job Description

As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Patrol Unarmed in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. You will play a key role in supporting a welcoming atmosphere, demonstrating our commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the manufacturing and industrial location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing patrol duties.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
