Come join SPIN as a Community Access Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to join our team. The Driver will be responsible for transporting goods or passengers to their destinations in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent navigation skills, a strong commitment to safety, and a positive, professional demeanor.

Accountabilities of a Community Access Specialist

  • Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safety for passengers, cargo, and other motorists.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries, utilizing navigational tools when necessary.
  • Keep accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, deliveries, and other important data.
  • Load, unload, and secure cargo or assist passengers with luggage or equipment as needed.
  • You will interact with employee in person, via phone and email, through social media and group presentations
  • Perform and document routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Keep the vehicle clean, presentable, and properly fueled

The tools you need

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Driver's License with 5 years experience of driving
  • A clean driving record
  • Proficiency with GPS devices and navigation applications.

    • Expectations :

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in navigating Philadelphia's street grid and complex one-way systems.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules or traffic conditions.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with department managers and employees
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism and provide superior service to passengers or customers
