Telemetry RN Job Details

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1570 - $1680

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : October 6, 2025

End Date : January 5, 2026

Shift : Night shift, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Hours per Week : 36 (3 x 12-hour shifts)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

Employment Type : Travel nursing

Unit : Medical Surgical Telemetry (MSTELE)

Patient Ratio : Typically 1 : 6

Floating : May float to ICU or observation unit for similar acuity patients

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – West Virginia or compact state preferred

Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or Med / Surg RN experience

At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required

BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required

Ability to work every other weekend (EOW)

No blocked scheduling available

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical and surgical conditions, including post-surgical, infection, chronic and acute illnesses

Provide pre- and post-operative care, wound care, pain management, and medication administration

Monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and coordinate diagnostic testing

Educate and support patients and families throughout the care process

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Float to ICU or observation unit as needed for similar acuity patients
