American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of general, vascular, OB, and echo experience for a travel contract requiring ARDMS and BLS certification.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in a hospital-based general ultrasound departmentPerforms general, vascular, OB, and echocardiography examsDay shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PMCall required 1-2 nights per week and one weekend per monthMust be willing to float to other areas and sister facilities within a 75-mile radius as neededUses Epic EMR system; prior Epic experience preferredNot open to block schedulingResponsibilities include performing general, vascular, OB, and cardiac ultrasound exams as neededFloating to other departments and sister facilities within scope is mandatoryA maximum of 5 days of requested time off permitted per contract; holiday RTO is not allowed2 supervisory references required for considerationBoth billable and non-billable orientation modules will be completed at the start of the assignmentPrior Integris employees must be separated for at least 1 year to be eligibleScrub or dress code requirements are facility-specific and will be discussed upon assignment\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sonographer in general, vascular, OB, and echocardiography examsGraduate of an AMA-accredited ultrasound schoolActive ARDMS RDMS certification requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredLicense required if applicableMust provide a valid driver's license or state-issued ID plus a utility bill with matching address dated within the last 3 months; permanent address must be more than 75 miles from the facilityNo local candidates within 75 miles of the facilityMust not have been employed by the system in the last yearNo license infractions permittedPending state licenses are not accepted\n Benefits\n
