Estimated Weekly Salary Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2240 - $2400 per week Travel Nursing Job Details Assignment Length : 13 weeks (potential extension available) Location : Bismarck, North Dakota (58501) Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Hours : 36 hours per week guaranteed Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts (nights with some days); every other weekend and holiday required Healthcare Setting : Acute care, Level II Trauma Center Unit Size : 19 beds Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 for Labor & Delivery, 1 : 3 for mom / baby couplets, 1 : 4 for gyn, combination up to 1 : 5-6 Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs for gyn and mom / baby care; hospital-provided scrubs for L&D Orientation : 36 hours of comprehensive orientation for travel nurses Registered Nurse Qualifications Active and valid RN license (Registered Nurse) – North Dakota or compact state Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Gyn care Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and NRP (STABLE preferred but not mandatory) Proficient in fetal monitoring and care of high-risk obstetric patients Willingness to float to Newborn Nursery and NICU as needed Experience with EPIC and OBIX electronic documentation systems preferred Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Must not have a permanent address within 80 miles of Bismarck, ND Key Nursing Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients, including high-risk and complex cases Provide postpartum care for mothers and newborns in a clinical setting Care for post-operative gynecological surgical patients Utilize fetal monitors, vital sign monitors, suction, and oxygen equipment Accurately document patient care using OBIX and EPIC systems Float to assist in the Newborn Nursery and NICU as required Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adhere to hospital policies, including badge-in / out procedures and dress code standards Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career with this exciting Labor & Delivery RN job in Bismarck, North Dakota!
