Team Description :

The Intelligent Foundations and Experiences (IFX) team is pivotal in realizing our AI vision at Capital One. Collaborating closely across various functions, we push the boundaries of AI science and engineering, developing proprietary solutions that deliver significant value to millions of customers. Our AI models and platforms enable teams across Capital One to integrate transformative AI technologies responsibly and at scale.

In this role, you will :

• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, research scientists, technical program managers, and product managers to create AI-driven products that enhance operations and customer interactions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI software components, including training foundational models, managing large language model inference, conducting similarity searches, and implementing governance and observability measures.
• Utilize a wide range of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, Nemo Guardrails, and PyTorch.
• Research and implement cutting-edge LLM optimization techniques to boost performance metrics like scalability, cost-efficiency, latency, and throughput in large-scale AI systems.
• Contribute to the long-term technical vision and roadmap for foundational AI systems at Capital One.
