Video Editor

Job Description:

Principal Function: Gathers content for videos and live production. Produces and edits media production for events and services.

Responsibilities:

• Works closely with ministry leads during the brainstorming and early development process for video ideas.
• Sets up and films with professional camera equipment.
• Basic knowledge and workability with lighting.
• Basic knowledge and workability with audio recording.
• Direct the creativity process of the vision and “tell the story” of live events by editing footage, motion graphics, music and scripting.
• Create motion graphics for videos using After Effects.
• Stay well versed in production software skills: After Affects, Premiere, Photoshop and Pro Presenter.
• Post sermons/videos on church web and app with the highest level of excellence.
• Maintain an understanding of the heart of the church and vision/goals of the senior pastors.
• Works closely with the production manager and creative director for large services/events.
• Must be able to lift lbs, lbs and lbs worth of equipment on a regular basis.

Services/Events:

• Direct 3-5 camera operators for live production events.
• Graphics/Video mixer operator.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferred, plus 1-3 years of related job experience.
