Office Specialist
The Mohave County Development Services is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Office Specialist to join our Flood Division. This position plays a vital role in supporting flood management operations, providing administrative and clerical assistance to staff and the public.
The mission of the Flood Control Division is to reduce the risks of death, personal injury, and property damage through the identification, regulation and remediation of flood hazards.

Essential job functions include :

Administrative support to division staff as assigned, including but not limited to financial reports, requisitions, purchase order management, grants, and other program support, and meeting supportDivision inventory managementRecords management to include setting up files, tracking flow of records, distributing records as needed, maintaining archives in electronic version and hard copy as needed, close-out, and destruction of records in accordance with various laws and County policiesSecondary job functions include :

High School diploma / GED (General Education Degree)Four (4) years minimum progressively responsible advanced administrative and clerical office support with which :Two (2) of the Four (4) years performing specialized support in the assigned department / division or comparable Mohave County DepartmentAn equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered in meeting the minimum qualificationsSpecial job requirements :
Must possess a valid driver's license for operation of motor vehicles on Arizona roads at the start of employment and maintain said license while employed in this positionMust provide driving history upon acceptance of appointment at no cost to the CountyKnowledge, skills, and abilities :
