Description

American Veterinary Group is excited to add you as a Multi-Site Associate Veterinarian! This unique dual-site role allows you to work across two of our hospitals - broadening your experience and connecting with multiple supportive teams, as well as working with mixed and large animal cases. This role will encompass Baldwin Animal Clinic and Dykes Veterinary Clinic . Both locations share a collaborative culture and a passion for excellent medicine. This position is a great opportunity for veterinarians of all experience levels. Two teams, one amazing career!

About our hospitals :

  • Baldwin Animal Clinic
  • Mixed animal practice with about 30% large animal + equine!
  • Large facility with 4 exam rooms, 6 stalls, 2 stalls for isolation, and several pastures!
  • Dykes Veterinary Clinic
  • State of the art equipment including cold / therapy laser and surgical laser!
  • We are currently closed on Saturdays and Sundays, allowing our team a chance to enjoy their weekends

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
  • Collaborate and engage with both clinical teams and leaderships
  • Grow relationships within the practices and both communities
  • Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training program
  • Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during our open hours

    • Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • DVM / VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
  • Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
  • Ability to work seamlessly between multiple hospital locations
