Receiving Clerk Contract Role

We are looking for a dedicated Receiving Clerk for a contract role to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing the receipt and delivery of goods while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in warehouse operations. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work with various software tools to support shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.

Responsibilities :

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with order specifications.
• Process shipping and receiving documentation using software tools such as Viewpoint Vista and OnBase.
• Manage inventory by accurately recording received goods and updating warehouse systems.
• Coordinate wire transfers for shipped or received items, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including organizing and maintaining storage areas.
• Perform shipping functions such as preparing packages, generating labels, and scheduling deliveries.
• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies or issues with incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations in all warehouse activities.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create reports and track shipping and receiving metrics.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of all transactions and activities related to the warehouse.
