What You'll Do

Carry out routine and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures and guidelines.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to observe for irregularities or potential security-related concerns.

Provide customer service to clients and visitors, offering assistance and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

Enforce site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.

Assist with emergency response activities, including coordinating with first responders and notifying appropriate personnel when necessary.

Complete detailed incident and activity reports to document occurrences and actions taken during the shift.

Remain alert while on duty to identify and address potential security-related risks within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Applicants must hold a Level III armed certification if applying for positions in Texas.

Baton certification is preferred.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
