Secondary Mathematics Teacher

Responsibilities
Teach Geometry to students in grades 9-11, afternoons M-Th
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards
Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth
Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school-wide initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education or related field (or equivalent)
2+ years of experience teaching mathematics to secondary students
Strong understanding of mathematics curriculum and educational standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with students with diverse learning styles
Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
