Merge is looking for a motivated DevOps engineer to join our foundations engineering team. This person will be a key player in driving new data and services strategies when it comes to infrastructure and AWS decisions for Merge, as well as being critical to delivering on re-architecture strategy as we scale the company. We are hiring for mid - to staff - level positions, with candidate evaluation based on a combination of relevant experience and performance in the interview process.

What you will do :

• With reliability and scalability in mind, work with the rest of the engineering team to produce highly performant architectures that extend to some of our largest customers, reading and writing millions of rows per second across numerous databases, workers, and services
• Participate in roadmapping, architecture, and planning discussions
• Produce high-quality, production-ready, maintainable infrastructure and code
• Lead large projects from initial inception to production
• Unblock and support your team of peers
• Participate in on-call rotation and system maintenance activities
