Radiologic Technologist Job Details
Location : Columbus, OH 43228 (Ohio healthcare job)
Facility : Heart & Vascular Interventional Lab
Assignment Type : Travel contract for radiologic technologists
Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026)
Shift : 4x10-hour day shifts (07 : 00 – 17 : 30)
Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend and every other holiday; block scheduling available
Call : 8-10 shifts / month, including 1-2 weekends
Orientation : 16 hours
Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2710-$2920
Radiologic Technologist Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Cath Lab and / or Interventional Radiology experience preferred)
Graduate of an accredited radiography program
ARRT certification – Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
ODH Ohio Radiologic License required
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
Proficiency in scrubbing for cardiac cath and interventional radiology cases
Strong knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation safety, and medical terminology
Traveler’s permanent address must be more than 100 miles from Columbus, OH
Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities
Assist Interventional Cardiologists and Radiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures (scrubbing, monitoring, circulating)
Operate and maintain imaging equipment including X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound
Perform hemodynamic monitoring and maintain sterile technique throughout all procedures
Support a variety of cases including cardiac cath lab, vascular interventional radiology, electrophysiology, and neuro interventional procedures
Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias and medical emergencies
Participate in call rotation and provide weekend / holiday coverage as scheduled
Complete all required modules and orientation prior to assignment start
