This opportunity is ideal for someone who values relationship-driven work over volume and wants to operate at a high level of technical sophistication across individual and entity taxation. Onsite onboarding in Tempe, AZ is required, with hybrid flexibility after ramp-up—and remote may be an option for exceptional candidates.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Review complex individual (1040) tax returns for high-net-worth clients with $5M–$50M+ in assets.
• Oversee multi-state filings for S-Corps, partnerships, and LLCs with entities operating across 5–10 states.
• Coordinate with internal advisors on integrated wealth strategies across real estate, retirement, and business holdings.
• Provide strategic and creative tax planning for closely held businesses, estates, and family structures.
• Prepare and review complex federal, multi-state, and local tax filings for individuals, trusts, and entities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to HNW individuals and their investments, entities, etc.
• Collaborate across investment, legal, and accounting teams to integrate tax strategies into broader financial plans.
• Monitor tax law developments and proactively identify opportunities or areas of risk.
• Drive process improvements and maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients on tax matters and implications.
• Maintain thorough documentation in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
