Project Manager Commercial Construction

About the Opportunity :

We’re partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor in the Madison region that continues to expand its footprint across Wisconsin and the Midwest. The company is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join its growing team and oversee ground-up and large-scale commercial construction projects .

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction professional who values teamwork, integrity, and building long-term relationships while managing high-quality commercial projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities :

Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project documentation.

Manage client relationships and ensure clear communication between owners, design teams, and field staff.

Collaborate with estimating, preconstruction, and field teams to maintain project efficiency and quality standards.

Ensure safety, compliance, and quality throughout all phases of construction.

Qualifications :

7+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects (ground-up, healthcare, education, mixed-use, industrial, or municipal preferred).

Proven background working with a commercial general contractor .

Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.).

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
