Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their finance team and support key accounting functions, including fixed assets, month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant :

Manage and maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules

Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting

Prepare and post journal entries across multiple general ledger accounts

Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances

Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance teams

Qualifications for Staff Accountant :

2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of fixed assets and general ledger accounting

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Experience with SAP or another major ERP system is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
