Job descriptionPerform repairs and preventative maintenance tasks. Day-to-day communications with Production Teams and Electrical Service Contractors. Assist in reviewing Electrical systems for optimal energy efficiency with emphasis on cost saving initiatives. Ensure adherence to electrical code and record keeping, working closely with EHS team. Communicating with supply vendors to order materials and equipment. Update electrical maintenance programs when needed. Independently perform electrical installations as needed Assist with managing subcontracted electrical work as needed. Assist with the monitoring of electrical outages and ensure timely remediation. Assist with directing and inspecting electrical apprentice work to develop skills and knowledge of electrical systems. Other duties as assigned. Attention to detail - Ensures information is complete and accurate; follows up with others to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled. Customer service - Building strong internal customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions. Individual efficiency - Effectively managing time and resources so that individual work is completed efficiently. Maintaining a high level of honesty, integrity and confidentiality with respect to company matters. Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace. Highschool Diploma or equivalent. 4+ years of experience working in the electrical industry. Journeyman Electrician license. Ability to stand, remain stationary, and / or move about for 8 hours. Physical capability of repetitive lifting of up to 40 lbs. Ability to frequently complete physical tasks such as repetitive bending, reaching, squatting or otherwise positioning the body to load and unload materials from racks, skids and carts of varying heights. Other physical requirements may apply. Ability to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 6+ years of experience working as an electrician. Effective time management skills. Basic understanding of quoting, budgets and invoicing. Basic understanding of Lighting Controls. Ability to multi-task. Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills. Mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills.
