A Family Practice Physician is sought for a locum tenens position in Kalamazoo County, MI, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment. The role includes responsibilities such as managing walk-in appointments, overseeing after-hospital stay visits, and utilizing an extensive support staff while working with various insurance providers. Candidates must be Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with at least five years of experience and a Michigan medical license.

Our client in Kalamazoo County, MI is in need of a Locum or Locum to Perm Family Medicine Physician, for an ongoing assignment!

Job details :

• As soon as credentialed - ongoing until perm hired
• M-F, 8a-5p, w / 1 hour lunch
• EMR : Epic
• Support staff : 2-3 midlevels, MAs, triage nurses, BH consult team
• Ambulatory, walk-ins, full range, after hospital stay visits. 20 min appts, some telehealth
• 20+ patients per day, very fast paced
• All ages, newborn to death.
• Underserved population. Sees any insurance, Medicaid, Medicare .
