As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will actively monitor and patrol the location to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and keen observational skills will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, respond to incidents as needed, and communicate clearly with both the public and team members. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.

Respond to incidents and critical situations on site in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting procedures.

Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and other security-related concerns.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during patrols and shift responsibilities for documentation and follow-up.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal personnel regarding security-related matters and site needs.

Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols, assisting law enforcement and / or emergency responders when requested.

Minimum Requirements :

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
