Recreation Services Section Manager

The Recreation Section Manager is a significant and rewarding leadership position in the City of Eugene Library, Recreation, & Cultural Services Division.

There are currently two positions available that are responsible for administration, budgetary & fiscal oversight, staff supervision, and strategic planning of their respective facilities.

• Aquatics Section Manager
• The Community Center Section Manager's portfolio includes services at Amazon Community Center, Sheldon Community Center, Petersen Barn Community Center, Hilyard Community Center, and Campbell Community Center.
• Community Center Section Manager
• The Aquatics Section Manager is responsible for services delivered through EchHollow Pool, Sheldon Pool and Amazon Pool.

Section Managers coordinate and collaborate with providers throughout Lane County, including school districts, local and national nonprofit organizations, and BIPOC community organizations.

Salary : $93,246.40 - $125,881.60 Annually

Bilingual Pay Benefit : qualifies for up tan additional 5% of base salary for bilingual pay..

Retirement Program : Upon eligibility, the City contributse an employee contribution of 6%, as well as the employer contribution, ta retirement program administered by the Oregon Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS). In addition, the City will pay a 3% contribution ta deferred compensation program if the employee contributes at least 1%.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience :

Education :

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business administration, public administration, or a related field.

Experience :

Five years of professional experience developing, implementing, and managing programs, projects, and / or personnel functions within an organizational unit, including twyears in a full supervisory role.

Licenses and Certifications :

Valid Oregon driver's license.

First Aid & CPR

Background :

Must pass a criminal background check
