Animal and Equipment Delivery Driver
The Laboratory Animal Resource Center (LARC) supports the research programs of the faculty by providing all services associated with the care and use of laboratory animals including the purchasing / receiving, daily care and monitoring of the health of all species. Under the direction of an Animal Resource Manager or Supervisor, the Animal and Equipment Delivery Driver is responsible for transportation of equipment, animals, and supplies between UCSF campuses and collaborative institutions driving a cargo van or medium duty straight truck. The incumbent is responsible for assisting with vehicle upkeep, scheduling maintenance, and record keeping. On an as needed basis, the Animal and Equipment Delivery Driver can also be assigned to assist with animal health monitoring, routine husbandry, record keeping, and animal receiving accordance with applicable laws and regulations. On an as needed basis, the Animal and Equipment Delivery Driver may also be assigned to assist with cage was operations and duties.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $26.07 - $35.05 (Hourly Rate).
