NOW HIRING : COBOT WELDER IN RICHMOND, VA!

Position : Cobot Welder

Pay : $20.00 – $24.00 / hour, with an additional $1.00 / hour night shift differential once fully trained and transitioned to night shift

Shift : Monday – Friday, 6 : 00am – 2 : 30pm (Day shift during training; potential to move to night shift after readiness)

Are you a skilled welder ready to take the next step into advanced welding technology? The Lee Group is hiring a Cobot Welder for an equipment manufacturer in Richmond, VA . This is an excellent opportunity for experienced MIG welders to work hands-on with collaborative robotic welding systems in a forward-thinking, team-focused production environment.

Job Responsibilities of the Cobot Welder :

• Perform MIG welding and some TIG welding on steel frames and components
• Weld in vertical, flat, horizontal, or overhead positions
• Lay out, fit, and assemble metal parts using blueprints and measuring tools
• Prep and finish metal components by grinding or sanding
• Examine workpieces for defects and conformance to specifications
• Operate and adjust torches, plasma cutters, and grinders
• Safely operate overhead cranes, hoists, and other material-handling equipment
• Assist in product movement and proper storage
