• Patient ratio experience
• Charting system experience (Epic preferred)
• Travel experience preferred

Description :

The position involves working as an Inpatient Pharmacist with rotating AM / PM shifts.

Shifts are 10 hours long with a 30-minute duty-free period.

Shift times include 0600-1630, 0700-1730, 0800-1830, 0900-1930, 1000-2030, and 1200-2230.

Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.

First-time travelers are accepted, although previous travel experience is preferred.

Candidates must have experience in inpatient and acute care settings.

Skills required include anticoagulants, cardiac dosing, and clinical dosing.

Candidates should be skilled in geriatric dosing and high-risk medications.

Knowledge of pediatric dosing and pharmacokinetics is necessary.

Additional skills include psychotherapeutic management and therapeutic medication monitoring.

Experience with antibiotics, chemotherapy, compounding, and IV push medications is required.

Familiarity with sterile technique, emergency medication systems, and storage of medications is essential.

Candidates will be expected to float within the hospital based on census needs.

This position requires a thorough understanding of various patient age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Candidates must have up-to-date certifications and demonstrate the ability to manage complex medication therapies effectively.
