ICU Nursing Job Details

Location : Lebanon, New Hampshire 03756 (Upper Valley region)

Healthcare Setting : Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) – CVCC Unit

Contract Type : Travel RN contract

Start Dates : 12 / 8 / 2025 or 12 / 22 / 2025

Contract Duration : 16 weeks

Shifts : 12-hour shifts (Straight Days, Straight Nights, or Rotating : 7 : 00 AM–7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM–7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36 or 48 hours (48-hour contracts available)

Guaranteed Hours : 48 hours per week (for 48-hour contracts)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2410 - $2580

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – eligible for New Hampshire nursing jobs

Minimum 1 year of recent critical care nursing experience

BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)

Expertise in advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ICP monitoring, ventilator management, and administration of pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications

Experience with line insertion, maintenance, post-surgical patient care, and PA lines / waveform interpretation

Skilled in caring for fresh post-op surgical patients, including extubation, sedation and pressor weaning, CRRT, post-code patients, sepsis, cardiogenic shock, and advanced heart failure

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to critically ill surgical patients in the SICU

Monitor and interpret advanced hemodynamic and neurological parameters

Manage ventilators, CRRT, and vasoactive medication infusions

Assist with line insertions, maintenance, and care of drains and tubes

Receive and recover fresh post-operative patients from the OR, including extubation and sedation / pressor weaning

Respond to emergencies, including post-code and advanced heart failure scenarios

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
