Position Summary

The position is responsible for overseeing financial processes such as students petitioning for in-state residency for tuition purposes, employees requesting tuition waivers through the Tuition Assistance Program ( TAP ), and other financial-related processes / waivers that involve registration, withdrawing, etc. This also includes supervision of a full-time employee that assists with these processes. The position coordinates state and internal financial audits related to these processes. The position performs this leadership role with independence and autonomy, and the decisions made by this position have significant financial implications for the university.

• Experience working with financial processes.
• Knowledge of Banner system.
• Knowledge of USG and UGA tuition classification policies.
• Ability to communicate complex processes effectively.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to effectively oversee a team of employees and assign duties / deadlines / goals.
• Ability to effectively multitask and finish competing duties / deadlines.
