Single Double Diesel Forklift Operator

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Single Double Diesel Forklift Operator for a company based in Groveland, FL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the operation of a forklift and or other heavy equipment, to safely move, locate or relocate pallets.

Pay Rate : $17.00 per hour

Schedule and hours various Monday through Friday 6am-6 : 30pm or 6pm-6 : 30am

Single Double Diesel Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform safety check of the forklift to ensure it is safe to operate.
• Check fluid levels-for oil, water, and fuel before operating the lift.
• Ensure packaging lines have empty pallets available and inform supervisor of the pallet inventory.
• Place palletized bags inventory and ensuring they are located in the proper rows storing them neatly without damaging other inventory.
• Participate in plant cleanliness by restacking, picking up trash and debris, washing their equipment.

Single Double Diesel Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements

Must have Single Double Diesel Forklift experience

Able to climb on and off required equipment.

Ability to communicate effectively, read and write English and be able to follow instructions, able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Able to work in a dusty environment, hot / cold / raining weather, able to sit for a long period of time, able to lift 50lbs.
