Facilities And Cleaning Associate

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities and Cleaning Associate to support the day-to-day cleanliness, maintenance, and overall upkeep of our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for employees.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Clean and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Respond to cleaning emergencies such as spills or accidents promptly and effectively.

Facilities Maintenance :

  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify cleanliness, safety, or maintenance issues.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and replacing air filters.
  • Report any repair needs or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager or appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with office or workspace setups, including moving furniture or equipment.

    • Inventory & Supplies :

  • Monitor and restock cleaning and maintenance supplies.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools and materials.

    • Compliance & Safety :

  • Follow all safety protocols and cleaning procedures as per company and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA).
  • Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.

    • Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities support roles is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good physical stamina; able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable and punctual.

    • Work Environment :

  • May include early mornings, evenings depending on the shift schedule.
  • Work involves physical activity and exposure to cleaning agents and various environmental conditions.
