Job Description

Accounting Manager - NetSuite required! Responsibilities :

Manage day-to-day AP and AR functions including invoicing, vendor management, and collections.
Process month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
Ensure proper cost coding and financial tracking of construction projects.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
Collaborate with project managers and leadership to ensure accurate financial performance tracking.
Support audits and provide required documentation to external auditors.
Consolidate financials and prepare supplemental reporting packages.
Reconcile and monitor intercompany, and accrual accounts.
Manage account reconciliation by ensuring accurate loading of monthly trial balances.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors and work with stakeholders to ensure timely fulfillment of auditors’ data requests.
Conduct variance analysis / commentary on financial statements and financial presentations.
Ensure compliance with internal control policies.
Other assignments / responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).

5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the inventory, retail, procurement process.

Proficiency in accounting software NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.

Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
