Claims Representative LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Claims Representative who will play a critical role in managing and resolving our clients' property and casualty insurance claims. The perfect candidate will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving claims efficiently and fairly, ensuring compliance with policy terms and regulatory requirements. Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service are essential. Location : Bellevue, WA 98008 / Hybrid Schedule : In-office Tue, Wed, Thu Compensation : $26.66 $40.00 / hour Benefits : Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401(k) plan. Day-to-Day Responsibilities : This position requires prior experience in claims adjusting and focuses on training candidates on company-specific policies, products, and systems rather than basic claim handling.

Investigate and Maintain Claims : Collect all necessary documentation, including accident reports, statements, photos, and estimates.

Evaluate Claims : Assess coverage, damages, and liability based on policy terms.

Communicate with Stakeholders : Act as the primary contact for policyholders, agents, and legal representatives. Provide updates and explain processes clearly through verbal and written communication.

Negotiate Settlements : Work toward fair agreements within policy limits.

Document and Report : Maintain accurate records of all communications, investigations, and decisions.

Collaborate Across Departments : Partner with legal, underwriting, and special investigation units as needed.

Ensure Compliance : Adhere to state regulations and company guidelines throughout the claims process.

Deliver Excellent Customer Service : Maintain professionalism and empathy to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree not required.

Experience : Minimum 6 months to 3 years of property / casualty claims adjusting experience. Must have verifiable adjusting experience; candidates should be ready for advanced training on company-specific systems and policies.

Licensing : Active state adjuster license(s) preferred.

Skills :

Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Ability to manage multiple claims and maintain detailed documentation.

Customer-focused with a professional demeanor.
