Key Responsibilities :

Operate MRI scanners to obtain clear, high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and established protocols.

Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications, explaining procedures, and preparing patients effectively for their MRI exams.

Position patients accurately and select the best imaging parameters to optimise image quality.

Administer contrast agents and medications as directed by a physician to enhance imaging results.

Monitor patients throughout the MRI procedure to ensure their comfort, safety, and cooperation.

Evaluate and assess images for diagnostic accuracy, ensuring proper labeling and communication of any critical findings to the interpreting radiologist.

Maintain detailed patient records, ensuring proper documentation of all procedures, findings, and any necessary patient information in accordance with departmental standards.

Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to ensure the best patient care outcomes.

Perform routine MRI equipment maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and promptly report any equipment discrepancies or malfunctions.

Follow strict infection control and safety protocols to minimize risks associated with MRI procedures and ensure patient well-being.

Requirements :

ARRT Certification (required)

BLS Certification (required)

At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting
