This Position reports to : Vice President-Global HVACR Segment Mgr

The Regional Sales Manager (HVAC) is an experienced industry influencer who works to grow ABB's market share regionally by managing dedicated tier-1 Channel Partners and Commercial OEM customers in support of ABB's HVAC Drives product portfolio and market separation strategy. This challenging and rewarding role offers the successful candidate an opportunity to demonstrate superior demand motivation and earned influence while working in a market leading team environment.

The work model for the role is remote. This role is contributing to the Motion Drive Products division.

You will be mainly accountable for :

  • Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role :

  • Engineering Degree - bachelor's in mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred or a combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5, with 8+ preferred, years of relevant experience within a complex business environment selling products or solutions.
  • Extensive sales and VFD / HVAC application background.
  • Account management history of OEM, End User and Commercial Channel Partners in the HVAC industry.
  • Fluent English both spoken and written, good communication skills
  • Familiar with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software tool like SalesForce
