American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Thomasville, Georgia.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Intermediate Care Unit night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and recent critical care or ICU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) stepdown setting
  • Night shift position with options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts
  • Assignment includes some weekends and holiday shifts
  • 13-week contract with possible extension
  • Care for patients requiring titration of critical drips, IV starts, and lab draws
  • Royal blue scrubs required
  • Pre-employment modules completed through HealthStream prior to start date
  • Royal blue scrubs must be worn during all shifts
  • Minimal requested time off, especially around holidays, will be considered
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Assignment may be extended based on performance and facility need
  • Candidates living 31-50 miles from the facility are eligible with a pay rate adjustment

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active GA or compact RN license required in hand or verifiable proof of application in progress
  • Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required
  • Minimum of 1 year recent critical care or ICU RN experience required
  • Experience in intermediate care, IV starts, lab collecting, and titrating critical drips
  • Previous travel experience preferred
  • Must not reside within 30 miles of the facility
  • Copy of Driver’s License and proof of residence required for consideration
