Monday : 07 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Tuesday : 07 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Friday : 07 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Saturday : 07 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns observed during patrols.

Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential disturbances and / or unauthorized access.

Communicate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed in response to incidents.

Document all incidents and activities in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.

Carry and responsibly handle a firearm as required by the armed post profile, following all applicable laws and company protocols.

Minimum Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Applicants must provide one of the following : a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.

A guard card or license is preferred.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
