We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our dynamic Neurosurgery Unit. Located at Aurora St Lukes Medical Center, this full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients dealing with neurological conditions.

Position Details :

Shift : 3rd

Hours per Week : 36

Pay Range : $37.50 - $56.25

Location : 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Unit Overview :

Be part of our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit where you will care for patients with complex needs, including :

• Post-operative care for neurosurgical procedures
• Surgical treatments for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine issues
• Caring for stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program

Your Responsibilities :

• Deliver and coordinate patient care using evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient-centered care
• Assess patient conditions and act on significant changes
• Implement safety strategies and engage in patient education
• Coordinate discharge plans with a focus on continuity of care

Qualifications :

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience preferred

Skills Required :

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in computer systems and electronic medical records
