We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our dynamic Neurosurgery Unit. Located at Aurora St Lukes Medical Center, this full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients dealing with neurological conditions.
Position Details :
Shift : 3rdHours per Week : 36Pay Range : $37.50 - $56.25Location : 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215Why Join Us?

Unit Overview :
Be part of our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit where you will care for patients with complex needs, including :
- Post-operative care for neurosurgical procedures
- Surgical treatments for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine issues
- Caring for stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program
Your Responsibilities :
- Deliver and coordinate patient care using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient-centered care
- Assess patient conditions and act on significant changes
- Implement safety strategies and engage in patient education
- Coordinate discharge plans with a focus on continuity of care
Qualifications :
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience preferred
Skills Required :
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in computer systems and electronic medical records
