Maintenance Professional
A maintenance professional who, working with little or no supervision, applies planning and scheduling principles to leverage available resources to complete required maintenance and engineering activities. This position will assist Engineering and Maintenance in providing technical support to the facility.
Responsibilities :
- Plan all facets of maintenance (demand, preventative, predictive, etc). Assign workorders to the resources that will complete them and schedule the activities.
- Plan and schedule engineering activities while optimizing the engineering strategy to consolidate Engineering and Maintenance work. Partner with Global Engineering for activities on newly installed assets.
- Prioritize maintenance work that impacts safety or quality in order to assure a quick response time.
- Lead day to day maintenance executions working with technicians on the floor and responding to maintenance requests for troubleshooting.
- Provide accurate assessments and quotes for demand maintenance activities and order and kits the parts needed prior to scheduling.
- Adding spares to the inventory through MRO process as requested by Maintenance and Engineering.
- Work closely with supply chain and operations to manage the timing such that maintenance or engineering activities do not impact safety stock. Where possible, align activities to minimize downtime required. Progress the Global MEP program through phases as required.
- Support project and global engineering and other technical efforts as needed. Capture continuous improvement actions applicable to the maintenance organization and reflect a plan that supports implementation. Where possible, build tools to automate manual tasks.
- Deliver Maintenance Excellence Program (MEP) results. Interface with the Global MEP team to assure fulfillment to expectations.
- Act as the lead for coordinating maintenance and engineering plant shutdowns including operations labor needs, technical resources, Global Engineering, vendor support, parts and materials, and work orders; must be able to work flexible hours during summer shutdown.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in related field or 10+ years of experience in maintenance or related field.Previous experience at planning and scheduling 5+ years.Strong Maximo asset management and Excel skills required.Strong collaboration skills / ability to work cross-functionally.Leading without authority and influencing others.Familiarity with calibrations and metrology preferred.Additional Information :

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
