We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. This role will support the Accounting Manager in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and continuous process improvements. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the monthly close process, account reconciliations, revenue recognition, and internal control development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Perform general ledger accounting and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Support revenue recognition processes in line with ASC 606 for product and service sales.
- Maintain and reconcile fixed assets, prepaid expenses, intercompany accounts, and inventory.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and audit schedules.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Supply Chain) to ensure accurate costing, expense allocation, and inventory valuation.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and controls to strengthen accounting operations.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred).46 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition (ASC 606).Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite experience strongly preferred).Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, sum if).Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-growing company.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
