Investment Analyst - Fixed Income Trade Finance

Federated Hermes has a new opportunity for an Investment Analyst to join a fast growing private credit product team at our Pittsburgh headquarters which manages globally diversified portfolios of project and trade finance assets mostly domiciled in emerging and frontier markets. This is a unique opportunity to leverage commercial lending, and / or financial statement and modeling experience into work with alternative fixed income products. As an Investment Analyst, you will conduct in-depth research and analysis on project transactions to support the firm's investment decision-making process. Position Specifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or business-related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of financial statement analysis, modeling, or credit analysis (sovereign and corporate) experience required; accounting experience helpful; experience in trade finance loans preferred. Other private credit, project / infrastructure analysis, engineering, or emerging market corporate risk management experience helpful.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial statement, covenant structure, risk analysis and relative value techniques required.
• Comprehensive understanding of macro-economic and political factors required.
• Excellent research knowledge, financial analysis experience, and the ability to make recommendations are required.
• Ability to operate as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues across the Fixed Income Department.
• Computer proficiency especially in Microsoft office suite required; knowledge of Wall Street Office or Bloomberg preferred.
