Mechanical Designer

PGS Worldwide is hiring a Mechanical Designer in Chandler, AZ for a 12-month contract-to-hire position. This role supports the Launch Vehicle Division and focuses on checking and developing complex mechanical design and drafting packages in compliance with aerospace, military, and ASME standards.

Required Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 standards
• 5+ years of mechanical design / drafting experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment
• Strong experience using Siemens NX for 3D modeling and design
• Familiarity with Teamcenter for model management and revision control
• Proven ability to review and check design packages for fit, function, manufacturability, and fabrication efficiency
• Experience reviewing tolerance analyses, hardware selection, and assembly fitment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows-based tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities under schedule pressure
