EMS Liaison Educator- Mercy South

This position will assist in EMS education planning, conduct audits on patient care and documentation, oversee patient transport follow-up, and facilitate the establishment of policies and procedures for EMS districts, reporting to Mercy Hospitals. Qualifications : Education : Completion of an accredited E.M.T. & Paramedic program. Experience : At least 3 years EMS prehospital experience. Licensure : Current license in state of practice as EMT / Paramedic. Certifications : Hazmat Awareness, BLS for Healthcare Providers, NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800 within 90 days of hire. Physical Requirements : Position requires individuals to push, pull, and / or lift 50 pounds regularly. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties. Preferred Qualifications : Education : Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience. Experience : AHA Instructor experience, such as CPR or ACLS instructor.
