Equipment Finance Underwriter

In this role, you will :
- Participate in underwriting the creditworthiness of moderately complex commercial or business loan and lease requests
- Perform periodic reviews on assigned portfolio credits while maintaining risk ratings and other relevant data on systems of record
- Review and analyze basic business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgement to guide medium risk deliverables
- Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise within Equipment Finance Underwriting functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with Equipment Finance Underwriting colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal and external customers
Required Qualifications :
2+ years of Equipment Finance Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications :
2+ years of Equipment / Vendor Finance Underwriting experienceExperience performing financial statement analysisCommercial Banking / Vendor Financial Services experienceBachelor's degree in either Finance, Accounting or EconomicsAbility to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find informationStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels; where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are importantAbility to work in an extremely fast-paced deadline driven environmentEnergetic, quick learner, positive attitude, self-motivatedAbility to work independently, organizing and managing multiple prioritiesExperience with Siebel ROW or similar system a plusJob Expectations :

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates. $77,000.00 - $145,000.00
