Job Description

Responsibilities of the project manager :

• Developing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring that all expenditures are properly authorized and tracked, and that project costs remain within budgetary constraints.
• Assisting in and developing estimates of project scopes.
• Assisting in and developing some initial project drawings.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, including resource allocation and critical path analysis, to ensure timely completion of all project tasks and milestones.
• Managing project risk by identifying potential problems, developing contingency plans, and communicating risk management strategies to team members and stakeholders.
• Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure project success and to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
• Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure that work is being performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Managing all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, submittals, and RFIs.
• Preparing and presenting project status reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Leading project meetings and facilitating communication among all team members and stakeholders.
• Mentoring and coaching junior team members, providing guidance, support, and feedback to help them grow and develop their skills and expertise.
• Representing the company in a professional manner at all times, building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's project management processes and tools, and supporting the development of best practices and standards.
