Position Details

This is a Part-time position with a limited term of 12 months, possibly extendable or permanent. The hourly rate ranges from $169.49 to $174.40.

Job Description

Seeking psychiatrists currently employed with the state of California interested in providing additional coverage in a part-time capacity, up to 40 hours per month. The role must be distinctly different from the primary job and cannot be a supervisory, managerial, or executive position. Onsite dual appointments at your primary institution may be available.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care and services as part of the correctional health team.
• Work outside normal hours; time worked is not considered overtime.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and correctional staff to ensure quality care.
