KVC Missouri Admissions Team
Schedule : Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm
Pay : $41,000-$54,000 (determined by education and years of relevant experience.)
Location : This is a fully remote position as it supports statewide locations - candidates must reside in Missouri
Job Summary
Carries out all activities related to Admissions for any and all KVC Missouri programs. This position provides consultation to the Social Services Department and to the direct care staff.
Major Duties :
- Develops and maintains KVC Missouri admissions policies and procedures in collaboration with the Admissions staff in all locations
- Explains the services and programs offered at KVC Missouri to referring agencies and individuals as well as the procedures for making a referral to KVC Missouri
- Develops relationships with referring agencies through visitations and marketing presentations. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with referral sources and community partners
- Responsible for all client population and planned disenrollment’s / releases for the KVC Missouri in conjunction with program staff in all residential programs
- Collects referral information for all KVC Missouri programs and is able to connect with potential clients with appropriate staff. Maintains strong knowledge, understanding and contact information for all KVC Missouri Programs
- Evaluate all referrals for possible admission / enrollment in various continuums of care programs
- Determines the source and availability of funding and expedites matters pertaining to payment for services
- Gathers all pertinent clinical education, and social information and documentation for admission
- Enters referral information into electronic health record. Gathers all required paperwork for admission and ensures all legal paperwork is executed and submitted properly
- Assess clients for appropriate fit and prepares recommendations for acceptance
- Works with program staff and intake case managers to schedule intake appointment / intake assessment. Conducts intakes as needed 2 REV 11.2.22
- Communicates agency expectations for family involvement to referral sources at the time of referral and coordinates the scheduling of an initial family therapy session at the time of admission
- Request and negotiate funding for level at admissions and works with program staff to request special funding arrangements during treatment. Submits and monitors all necessary paperwork to secure funding

Education : High school diploma or equivalent
Qualifications :
Experience operating computers and calculatorsPossess a current, valid MO driver's license and meet the KVC Missouri requirements for driver’s insuranceExperience : One (1) year experience in a behavioral health agency
Preferred Experience / Skills :
