Healthcare Setting : Hospital Operating Room (6 ORs & 2 Endoscopy Suites)

Assignment Type : Travel Nurse Contract

Start Date : January 5, 2026

End Date : April 6, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 10-hour days (6 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM), call required

Hours per Week : 40

Patient Ratio : 1 : 1

Scrubs Provided

Charting : Paper charting

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630 - $1750

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Texas or compact state)

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience

Preferred experience in Ortho, Gynecology, General Surgery, Robotics XI, and Endoscopy

Ability to take call as required

Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

OR Nurse Responsibilities

Serve as an OR Circulator, delivering direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures

Assist with a range of surgical cases including orthopedic, gynecological, general surgery, robotics, and endoscopy

Maintain accurate documentation using paper charting

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical healthcare team

Follow hospital policies and safety protocols

Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
