Overview : Piedmont Eastside, WEO Nights PEM laboratory is dedicated to providing comprehensive diagnostic services to support patient care at our North and South Campus. PEM laboratory is equipped with advanced technology in every department within the lab such as hematology, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, microbiology, and pathology services. The laboratory is staffed by a multi-cultural team of highly skilled professionals like Pathologist, Medical Laboratory Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist, Histologist, Laboratory Tech Assistant and Laboratory Assistant. PEM lab is designed to handle the needs of a busy hospital environment, ensuring timely and accurate results to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment for outpatient and inpatient care. Responsibilities : Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory, established standards as may be applicable. Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains / prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks. Qualifications : Education H.S.
