Full-Time | Partially Remote Salary : $70,000 – $120,000+ annually (based on experience and licensure)

About the Professional Surveyor Role

As a Professional Surveyor , you will lead project management efforts, perform office calculations, and oversee quality assurance and control. This Professional Surveyor role requires hands-on fieldwork and strong leadership skills to guide teams through diverse projects. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, communicative, and safety-conscious Professional Surveyor who thrives in both independent and team settings.

Key Responsibilities of the Professional Surveyor

Manage and deliver surveying projects from start to finish as a Professional Surveyor

Perform precise office calculations and project estimations

Conduct thorough QA / QC to ensure project accuracy

Lead and mentor junior survey staff

Participate in fieldwork activities as needed

Utilize AutoCAD and surveying software to support project goals

Professional Surveyor Qualifications

Licensed Professional Surveyor or ability to obtain Michigan licensure within 6 months

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail and sound analytical judgment

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Comfortable balancing remote and onsite work
