DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

The Maintenance Planner is accountable for development of comprehensive work packages, supporting excellence in execution of the right work at the right time, by multi-discipline trades, including internal and external department resources for a broad cross-section of equipment.

Planners are recognized for their expertise in applying planning process 'best practices' and should be capable of planning work for multi-disciplinary trades against a broad cross-section of equipment. The focus is on job planning, not craft planning. Planners typically require equipment knowledge breadth and capability to interact and plan for multi-discipline trades. A 'craft' background (certificate of qualification) is beneficial.

The Basics :

• High School Diploma or GED-equivalent
• 3 years' minimum experience in maintenance activities within a heavy manufacturing environment needed
• In-depth experience with SAP CMMS required
• Working knowledge of SAP-PM and FMEA
• Working knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic
• Ability to communicate technically and effectively with Engineers and Specialists as well as outside Contractors and Vendors
• Experience or design knowledge of Electric Arc Furnaces, Ladle Met Furnaces, Vacuum Degassers, Slab Casters strongly desired, including knowledge of pumps, hydraulic systems, lubrication systems.
