Job descriptionMust be 21 years of age or older Business to Business sales experience strongly preferred Cannabis Sales experience is required! Ability to travel (state-wide) for Vendor Shows and as needed High School Diploma or a General Education Degree Computer Experience preferred Frequently sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull / push, carry up to 25 pounds, and grasp. Frequently walk, reach, and taste, or smell. Occasionally climb, stoop / crouch, crawl, carry up to 50 pounds, talk, or hear. Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness). Benefit Package after 90 Days : medical, dental, vision, accident & life Paid Vacation Time; 40 hours for 6 months-2 years employment, 80 hours for 3-10 years employment, 120 for 11-15 years employment, 160 hours for 16-20+years of employment and four paid holidays. Job Summary
We are hiring a Sales Account Manager for Phat Panda!
This position acts as the go-to person for accounts as a liaison between the customer and company, assists in vendor days and vendor education, identifies key voids and other selling opportunities and acts on and closes those opportunities. This role expands to the edibles distribution by setting appointments, coordinating samples drops and following up with potential clients post-delivery. This position trains and helps manage vendor managed inventory for select accounts and effort to grow our business through collaboration and business insights. The salary for this role starts at $60,000 per year DOE. Previous Cannabis experience required.
Job Duties
- Acts as a Go-To for account as liaison between customer and company on any questions or issues that may arise.
- Performs weekly check-in sales call.
- Makes 25 - 30 sales calls per week visiting stores in assigned territory.
- Hosts quarterly business reviews with top accounts.
- Calculates discounts for special buys or outdated product and notifies Sales Support Representative Team.
- Notifies upper management of any product or paperwork issues.
- Alerts clients of new products, promotions, etc.
- Provides product / specials recommendations for account building.
- Uses data tools and account history to analyze accounts and make suggestions of items to be placed on the shelf to maximize the account and Brand presence.
- Coordinates Vendor Day events with scheduling personnel.
- Tracks and reviews real-time client inventory using Headset, Greenbits, and other inventory and data programs
- Places weekly proposal orders in the Panda Portal for approval by vendor considering inventory trends and flow rates, and distribution voids as well as par levels set by vendor if applicable.
- Performs all other duties / responsibilities as necessary or assigned. Assists with Research and Development as assigned.
