About The Position

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS
Must-Have : Willingness to float to Med-Surg; Cerner experience required; Able to float to L&D preferred
Description :
General nursing duties and trauma response will be performed.
HealthLand EMR and OmniCell medication / pharmaceutical delivery systems are utilized.
ADN is the minimum requirement; BSN is preferred.
Candidates must hold the required licenses and certifications.
The position involves working 12-hour shifts on various days, nights, and weekends.
Employees may be called upon to float to other areas such as Med-Surg.
Floating to Labor & Delivery may be expected upon demonstration of competency.
The Emergency Department has a bed capacity of 25 with a 16-bed availability.
Nurse-to-patient ratios are determined using an acuity measurement tool.
A dress code of tasteful scrubs in good condition is required.
Training includes general orientation to hospital mission, vision, values, as well as departmental training.
Candidates are encouraged to possess skills in trauma response and general nursing practices.
